We designed, built and tested this VR MRI simulator for a case study by Mercy Health. MRIs are crucial to modern medical testing, but many patients find themselves unsettled by the enclosed space and loud noises within the machines. It's essential that patients remain still during scans, but anxiety can make this difficult. We built the MRI simulator in partnership with Mercy Health to train and prepare patients for the sensations of an MRI scan, rendering a highly realistic environment to ensure confidence during the actual scan.

VR can be used to display scientific data, content and more. We built a human Skelton that you can walk around and view the different parts of the body. Select the lungs or heart and various other organs to learn thier location and the functions they play in your body.
